Method 1: Auto-Upload to Cloud
Auto-Upload Feature:
Files located in the
$HOME/workdirectory on the workstation will automatically upload to the cloud after your session ends.To access these files, go to the Rescale platform, navigate to the Workstation section, and click on "My Completed Workstations" to find your workstation and access the files in the Results section.
Accessing the Home Directory:
Click the
Homeicon on the workstation desktop to open the home directory.Inside the home directory, you’ll find the
workdirectory, where you can place any files that you wish to be auto-uploaded.
Method 2: Manually Upload to Cloud
Manual Upload:
While logged into the workstation, locate the Cloud Files icon on your desktop.
Click this icon to open the Rescale file browser.
Uploading Files:
In the Rescale browser window, select My Library.
Click Upload Files to choose and upload the files from your workstation to your cloud storage.
Method 3: Syncing to Cloud (Before Shutting Down the Workstation)
If you need to access your files before shutting down the Workstation, you can sync them to the Cloud Files section.
Move Files to Work Directory:
Similar to Method 1, move your files to the
workdirectory.
Sync to Results:
Before shutting down your workstation, go to the Workstation page on the Rescale platform.
Locate the Sync button, which is to the right of the Connect button.
Click the Sync icon, and the files in the
workdirectory will be synced and appear in your Cloud Files section on Rescale.
Method 4: Saving Files to an Attached Storage Device (HPS)
Saving Files:
Click the
Homeicon on the workstation desktop.Select the
storage_storagedeviceiddirectory, wherestoragedeviceidis your specific storage device ID.Move your files to this folder for transfer to the attached storage device.
